If you watched Grand Designs this week you will know all about Kelly’s childhood dream which she turned into a reality.
Kelly Davidson fell in love with a grand 1918 Victorian villa as a child, so much so that she decided to replicate the very same villa just north of Auckland. Everything in the house, from the floorboards to the furniture was made to look like it had been there for 100 years and the result was truly incredible.
But it didn’t quite hit the mark for the Davidson family and the day the villa featured on Grand Designs, it was listed for sale on Trade Me Property.
The five bedroom, two bathroom homestead is up for grabs for a cool $2 million. Boasting incredible views and a kitchen to die for on 1.2 hectares of land, it is fair to say this property is a true masterpiece.
As for the Davidson family, well, they are about to do it all over again and build another villa. This time as an exact replica of the Dargaville villa Kelly once fell in love with.
