Dogs up for adoption

On a very sad note, one of our Auckland members is trying to find a new home for her beautiful fur-babies this week. Kim was diagnosed with terminal cancer last June and has since found it too hard to keep up with her two girls, TJ and Bella.

With her lack of energy, Kim said, “putting them up [to be adopted] is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make.”

TJ is a 10 year old Fox Terrier and Bella is a 6 years old Pomeranian x Silky Terrier. “They need to go together as they are like sisters,” she said.

We're pleased to say that TJ and Bella have found a new home after a successful trial weekend with a mother and daughter from Takapuna.

Kim told Stuff that she felt a lot better, "knowing that they will go to someone who is able to love them."

The new owners have promised to keep Kim up to date with photos of her babies as well as the odd visit so she can see how they are doing.

We popped a wee something in the post this week which is on its way to Kim.
