MAFS NZ star Monique is selling her wedding ring

Married at First Sight NZ star Monique Lee is auctioning off her diamond-encrusted wedding ring in the name of mental health.

After being (fake) married to a stranger on national TV, Monqiue sadly didn't find love on screen and split with her husband Fraser but hopes that she can use her new found publicity to raise some money for Project Growing Up and Mental Health Foundation NZ.

Monique says there are a bunch of reasons to bid, including:

1. Contrary to popular stigma associated with wedding rings, it will only provide you with good luck as it was mostly worn as a friendship ring.

2. When people ask you where you got your ring from you have an excellent story

3. It's a good conversation starter

4. You can resell it next year during season 3 of MAFS for a profit

The listing had 18,800 views and raised $805 which will be split between the two charities.
