We love a good Kiwi film here at Trade Me, not to mention a cheeky vehicle or two. So when we found out that Kiwi classic, Goodbye Pork Pie, was being reimagined we were suitably excited.
The Blondini gang are back in Pork Pie which hits cinemas in February next year.
The movie stars James Rolleston, Dean O'Gorman and Ashleigh Cummings and has everything you'd expect - car chases through Wellington, fire, amazing Kiwi scenery, Invercargill and a few laughs.
Pork Pie is a bit of a family affair with original director Jeff Murphy's son, Matt, the writer director this time around. It's not a remake but a reimagning of one of New Zealand's most iconic films.
It's great to see a MINI tearing up NZ's streets and looks like a lot of fun.
Check it out and stay tuned for some more awesome Pork Pie info and bits and pieces as we get closer to the Waitangi Day release of the film.
