The sky's the limit

One auction that really took off this week was for a private jet.

The business jet which was built in 1981 is no longer operational but the seller reckons it would make a pretty cool holiday home or sleepout, and we agree.

Take Off

The aircraft is an Israeli Aircraft Industry Westwind IAI 1124A and operated as a business jet in America before it was brought to New Zealand where it was one of the first business jets available for charter.

The jet had over 96,000 views and and two bids but it didn't meet the reserve price. The auction did howver make a few media headlines and even the six o'clock news.
