Christmas is a wonderful time of year, but some Kiwis have it pretty tough.
This year, we've teamed up with Women's Refuge, the SPCA and Starship Foundation to find out what items they need most this Christmas. Kiwis can support these charities by purchasing an item from the Trade Me Kindness Store
We’ve got all sorts of things for sale from dog collars and chew toys to pillows, hair care and kids books.
It’s as easy as that. We will take care of the rest and make sure it gets wrapped and delivered to the charity.
Our members are a generous bunch, we see them pitch in on charity auctions all the time, but we know how hectic Christmas can be so we thought we’d make it as easy as possible to donate to a worthy cause.
A hairbrush can be bought for $10, $17 could buy a dog bowl and $22 can buy a colouring book for a child in hospital.
We've kicked started the campaign by donating $4,500 worth of items.
Our goal is to get more than 2,500 items to deserving Kiwis across the country to make their Christmas that little bit brighter.
